In this post I’ll be telling you about color theory color contrast and many more things this will definitely help you if you are an artist. I’ll make sure to make you understand and this is going to benefit you in your every step.

PRIMARY
COLOR
You can create secondary colors
using them but you cannot create them by using any other color. Here’s something
I have to tell is that there’s another color wheel that says different I’ll be
telling you about that in the end.
-RED
-BLUE
-YELLOW
SECONDARY
COLORS
They are the mixture of two
primary colors.
-PURPLE
-GREEN
-ORANGE

TERTIARY
COLORS
They are created by mixing primary
and secondary colors.
-YELLOW ORANGE
-RED ORANGE
-RED VIOLET
-BLUE VIOLET
-BLUE GREEN
-YELLOW GREEN

In this way color wheel is created
COLOR
THEORY will help you to conceal anything. It will help you in doing your
makeup be it. Bridal or fantasy makeup. Once you know this you can mix colors and
use them, so now you can carry less makeup wherever you go.
COOL COLORS
– they are the ones associated with cold, ocean, water, relaxation,
calmness and the list goes on…
-GREEN
-BLUE
-YELLOW
-VIOLET
WARM
COLORS – they are associated with heat, warmth, sun, fire etc.
-ORANGE
-RED
-YELLOW
-VIOLET
Yellow and violet are on the
borders so they are concluded in both warm as well as cool. When we mix them
with warm and cool we get the mixture of both warm as well as cool.
Neutral colors are 50% of warm and
50% of cool
2 RULES OF COLOR WHEEL
# when you take opposite colors
and put on top of each other they neutralize each other cool cuts warm, warm
cut cool.
Example: If you have warm on your
face like pimples you can hide it with the opposite color of it that is by
using cool color on your face (GREEN).
In the same way if you have dark
circles you can hide it with an orange color corrector.
# when you put opposite colors
from the color wheel next to each other they may give you complimentary and
contrasting effect. (You may have heard of complimentary colors).
Example: you can you cool color for eyeshadow and
warm for lipstick for bold makeup
In the same way if your eyes are
cool then you can use warm eyeshadow and vice versa.

The end part about the new color
wheel:
This is the wheel created by an
artist for other artists. This color wheel is named as real color wheel (RCW). This
wheel is same but says that yellow magenta and seine are the primary colors.
